The accounting department miscalculated the salary and then argued that the ERP system hadn't calculated the 31st! Who would accept that excuse? When I asked her to report it to the boss, she said the boss would get angry and unhappy—are you sure you want to ask? That's just how the system works~ But after accounting spoke to the boss, the boss personally told me: “Oh~ We won't quibble with employees over this money—we'll reimburse you!”
Please, if you encounter this kind of employer in the future, don't bother talking it out—take legal action.
If a company uses the “deduction method” for calculation, 【A】's daily wage in this case is NT$1,000, and they worked a total of 17 days, yet the company paid wages for only 16 days (NT$16,000). This clearly violates Article 22, Paragraph 2 of the Labor Standards Act, which states that “wages shall be paid in full,” and may result in a fine of NT$20,000 to NT$1 million.
