Read the community guidelinesNone, just good colleagues~ (But they’ve all left.)
Seriously, don’t join. Otherwise, you’ll definitely want to quit after one or two months. Youth is limited~
The colleagues are very nice.
1. The boss is also an engineer, but as an engineer, they write poor code; as a boss, they have neither logic nor direction.
2. No matter what goes wrong, it is always the employees’ fault.
3. Meetings are always extremely long—so long that they never reach a conclusion!
4. The boss believes that sales staff should use the company spirit to convince stores to pay (that is, scam them~). What use is the company spirit if it cannot bring in orders, but only leaves employees on the front line to be berated by former clients?
5. Following from the first point, the website is never properly fixed. It has not improved at all in these 10 years. There is a lack of technical expertise, and they refuse to pursue further training. Moreover, the boss never thinks there is anything wrong with themself!
6. The turnover here is unbelievably high~ People are replaced roughly every one or two months, and they are definitely driven away by the stress.
7. Although this is supposedly an internet company, it is extremely old-fashioned. It loudly waves the flag of being friendly, but never takes employees’ opinions into account.
8. It has absolutely no respect for professional expertise.
9. They only talk about how things were in the past and how things are in America. If it was really so good, why has it still not succeeded? Also, none of the proposals ever has any direction. The boss always thinks they are inadequate and need to be changed, but cannot explain why. Every time, they try to use flawed arguments and time to persuade employees, but when the plans fail, they blame the employees again. Just wonderful.
10. If you have made it this far, thank you for your hard work. For a platform, the traffic is unbelievably low, but the boss will certainly think it is the employees’ fault. Whenever employees mention the website, the boss blows up. Here is the key point: it has never made money in 10 years, yet it has not gone under, because it has a wealthy father company~
In summary: no technology, no funding, no vision, and no future.
You will understand once you join, but I urge everyone not to waste your life here!!!! It is terrifying.
The company is close to the MRT station
The boss has terrible logic and doesn’t understand how to respect employees’ opinions and expertise. They only cling to their ideals but take no practical action. Their technology is out of touch, their thinking is disconnected, and they can’t keep up with the times—they just want a savior, that’s all.
The office is very new
Not far from the MRT station
A company that doesn't know what it wants and is just looking for a savior to rescue the product's future. But the fact is, it lacks technical expertise, ability, and vision—and perhaps funding isn't quite sufficient either. As a result, many things are difficult to get off the ground, and the company is somewhat out of touch with current market needs.
