Whatever you do, don't join the night shift. The night shift is dominated by foreign workers, while Taiwanese workers end up looking like the foreign workers instead. Supervisors use foreign workers as assistant team leaders to bully Taiwanese workers. The team leader is only present for the shift handover at the beginning and end of the night; the rest of the time, they are in the office playing on their phone, sleeping, and I’ve even seen them applying face masks several times. It’s absolutely outrageous.

Before the interview, I was not informed that it would take place outdoors, so I had to stand outside in the wind for a long time before someone came down to interview me. The interview consisted only of an English test and a personality test. The questions were not difficult, but could three people really conduct the interview together? Three people asking the same question—is this for real? When asked whether the salary met my expectations, they refused to answer, giving me the impression that they were just recruiting people to pad their performance metrics.

Afterward, I had to wait nearly an hour for the interviewer
The HR representative and manager came across as very disrespectful
They even criticized the interviewee's educational background
