1. Beautiful environment
2. Friendly HR
The interview was for a position related to cybersecurity regulations. During the first interview, the manager said that passing that stage would determine the outcome. Later, HR notified me that there would be a second interview, and after the second interview, they suddenly said there would be a written test (suddenly requested by the Chief Information Security Officer).
The CISO kept asking about the details of the SOC while pretending to understand them, despite clearly not understanding them at all. This continued for an entire month and was a complete waste of time.
First round: HR
Second round: department manager, a foreigner; the interview was entirely in English
The second-round interview with the foreign manager went smoothly. The foreign manager also asked whether the other Taiwanese managers had any questions, but no one spoke up.
As a result, a week later, two or three Taiwanese managers asked me to interview again. I even asked why they hadn't asked their questions directly during the previous interview when the foreign manager was present.
I did not see any advantages
I was notified by Ms. Huang from HR about an interview for a management trainee position, but the interview process was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. The interviewer was a Malaysian male plant manager who spent the entire interview sitting with his legs crossed and shaking his leg. He also repeatedly interrupted me and even slammed his pen.
Ms. Huang from HR also asked some irrelevant questions, including private questions such as how many people there are in my family. After the interview, she said that she would proactively notify me of the result regardless of the outcome, but in the end, I never received any notification.
