The management is a complete mess. They don't dismiss employees who should be dismissed, and there is a fairly obvious malicious effort to force employees to quit. Remember to record meetings with them to protect yourself.
There is a McDonald’s next to the city center.
If you are on the Java Team or encounter a certain T manager, you can clearly feel that they have the aura of an out-of-touch second-generation rich kid.
They almost never do anything, yet they become your manager. You also can’t contradict them. Their self-esteem is very fragile and they get hurt easily, then they look for trouble with you.
The PMs at this company can’t write code, and their interpersonal relationships aren’t great either. Coming here is a waste of time.
1. The company location is good and convenient for transportation
2. Company outings (attendance is mandatory)
3. The assistant is very considerate and conscientious
1. No year-end bonus (that's right—12 months). They claim to follow a foreign-company system, but on average the salary is even more Taiwanese-company-like than that of a Taiwanese company
2. No system or structure (everything is decided by the female owner)
3. The boss may seem very enthusiastic about teaching you (during meetings), but she is simply using you to pass the time. What she teaches is also incorrect or information that has long been outdated—at most, it can fool recent graduates entering the workforce
4. The female owner is extremely impulsive. Meetings either start late or everyone has to wait for the assistant's notification, leaving a group of people sitting in the meeting room waiting for no reason
5. The seemingly dignified female owner has serious issues with controlling others; she is a control freak who likes people to report to her via Line at all times, likes giving orders, but does not understand anything
6. Once you are looked down on, you will always be left aside to do miscellaneous tasks that never get finished. No matter how hard you work, it is the same. They will use polished rhetoric to tell you that they are teaching you and giving you time to learn
7. The other supervisors have far too much free time. All day, they observe how newcomers speak and dress, then whisper to the female owner about all sorts of things (as do the female owner's confidants)
8. There are an overwhelming number of systems; they are outdated and extremely difficult to use, and contain a huge amount of data from ages ago—enough to make you sick of looking at it (including simplified-Chinese data from the company's mainland China branch)
At first glance, you would think you were looking at a forum. Even requesting leave or submitting an application feels like making a forum post
9. Each person holds at least 2–3 positions
10. The office has an industrial-style interior
11. A strange gathering place for like-minded people
