Cons

Taoyuan work

During the interview, they did not mention that I would need to sign a guarantee agreement.

Only after starting the job did they say that I needed to sign one and find a joint guarantor.

This job requires someone who is proactive.

The person training you teaches very quickly; you are expected to remember things after hearing them once or twice, and they seem impatient if you ask questions.

Some colleagues are overly controlling, make very offensive comments, and also share them with others.

During lunch break, the other people in the office continue working, so it is difficult to rest.

In principle, work ends at 5 p.m., but almost everyone in the office works overtime; it is essentially treated as a position of responsibility without fixed hours.

Pros

I don't know

Cons

The manager was not there, yet they still asked the candidate to come for an interview.

HR deliberately said there would be a second interview, but they did not even know when the manager would return to the country, completely wasting the candidate's time. It's unbelievably absurd.

Pros

Working hours are 9:00–17:40, and you can generally leave work on time. Overtime can also be applied for when necessary (recorded in half-hour increments). Every position is eligible for bonuses (calculated quarterly), and the year-end bonus is equivalent to 1–3 months of salary (depending on the company’s annual performance and individual evaluation). The work is relatively simple, and the overall benefits are average. Suitable for people who want to work as civil servants.

Cons

Everything has to follow the procedures, so there is little flexibility. Performance evaluations may be marked down due to procedural errors, making the work feel very much like that of a civil servant. Positions other than business and procurement have little room for development. People in the administrative departments tend to have a somewhat superior attitude. (Every company has people who are easy or difficult to get along with; it also depends on luck.) The company uses a proprietary system, which is troublesome to learn and not useful for other jobs.
