The job description given during the interview was completely different from the actual work. Every day, they suddenly tell you to do something and expect it to be done immediately, without giving any deadlines. There is no planning, and there is no training plan for new employees. The key management positions are all held by family members, and they make you do whatever they want. For a sales position, they say they will teach you how to prepare quotations, but all they have you do is make quotation forms. The way work is divided is also completely bizarre.

As I recall, the bonus for each of the three major holidays was NT$500. There was no year-end party, and they didn’t mention employee trips or other benefits at all. The job posting seemed to say things just for appearance’s sake; it felt like they were only conducting interviews to fill the number of interviewees.
As a public servant in the field of scientific Chinese medicine, you can learn a lot.
