Read the community guidelines1. A fairly well-structured company; at least promotions are based on ability
2. Colleagues get along well
1. The selection of drinks and meals changes too slowly, so employees get tired of eating the same staff meals
2. Each store only has a rough SOP, and the store manager adjusts how it is actually implemented, which causes many stores to operate inconsistently
Regular working hours, regular finishing hours, and regular mealtimes. You can work steadily and live a very normal life. It’s a very conventional company, suitable for people who like a civil-service-style work environment.
The advantages may also be disadvantages.
They provide everything they should, and do not arbitrarily require overtime. Overtime is always paid, and there are also gifts or bonuses for the three major holidays, year-end bonuses, birthday bonuses, and marriage allowances. There is even an annual travel allowance. Overall, it is a great company. The base salary is also higher than at Mermaid Coffee. The better the store’s performance, the more money you can earn. You need to be able to work both front and back of house. For the food and beverage industry, it offers very good value for money.
Buy-one-get-one-free promotions are too frequent, and sometimes they use strange marketing methods.
The colleagues are pleasant to work with, and the supervisors are very nice. When issues are reported to the company, they are generally handled. When there is a customer complaint, the company will generally consult the store first and will not deduct money arbitrarily.
For a part-time job, I think it is a really great workplace.
Honestly, I think it is a very good company. Whenever members of the owners’ family come to shop, they always pay; even the chairman pays for things himself~
There are a bit too few staff members, but adding one person would leave them too idle while having one fewer would leave them too busy—an awkward situation.
