The HR representative was extremely rude, constantly questioning my education and work experience. I don’t understand why she interviewed me when she looked down on me so much—why waste both our time?

(The interview lasted nearly 1.5 hours.)

1. The HR representative proactively stated that overtime would not be paid and asked whether I could accept that. I immediately answered no, and then she said, “So if you caused a delay in your own work today, you would still expect the company to pay you overtime?”

I replied, “Leaving aside the need to work overtime when I’ve just joined and am still unfamiliar with things, suppose the overtime isn’t caused by insufficient ability but because there really is a lot of work to do. Would there still be no overtime pay?”

HR: “Oh~ You can apply for compensatory leave! But basically, if you have to work overtime, it means your abilities are insufficient! If you still demand overtime pay under those circumstances, I’d have a huge question mark over you!”

I have a huge question mark over your company too.凸^-^凸

You violate the Labor Standards Act and talk about it as if it were perfectly reasonable?

So if employees work overtime, are they supposed to clock out first and then go back to work? Or how exactly do you manage not to pay overtime while also leaving no record of it?

That’s another huge question mark for me!

2. The HR representative asked how long I would stay in this position if I were hired. I answered that if the work went smoothly, of course I would continue doing it, and ideally I would settle into a stable position.

HR: “Oh, so roughly how long would that be? I don’t want to spend a lot of time interviewing someone only for them to quit over some stupid nonsense!”

By this point, I had very little patience left.

I couldn’t accept how vulgar she was.

What company’s HR representative uses such a crude phrase as “stupid nonsense” during an interview???

The quality is really poor… and the system is so strange…

There is not much information or many reviews online, but please carefully consider this company when applying! Before the interview, they repeatedly and actively urged me to have a family member join the company, and even called my home to bother us (even though I had provided mobile contact information, why call my home? I don't understand).

After joining, in less than a week they complained that I was not suitable enough. They did not give me any opportunity to learn and adapt to new things... Are they treating people like a joke? Can employment really be treated as child's play? Human resources and the supervisor were not coordinated at all. The supervisor did whatever they wanted, and HR only found out afterward. There was no respect whatsoever.

If you join this company, you had better be prepared to be dismissed after just one week... Even if they regard someone as a temporary worker, they should not treat them this way.

Pros

A company that never has year-end bonuses. The senior executives are all brothers nearing retirement, and each one has exceptionally polished speaking skills—the big boss loves listening to them.
