Read the community guidelines1. Starting salaries for newcomers in the construction industry are high, and the company is very willing to give newcomers opportunities to learn. The supervisor is the best I have encountered among the companies I have worked for, but it still depends on the construction site. I have heard that the supervisor at one site is an engineer killer.
2. The company mainly takes on public works projects. The work is very demanding but provides solid training. After working at Chun Yuan, you may find private-sector construction projects outside to be relatively manageable. I learned the right concepts there.
3. Overtime pay is always paid accurately, and you can apply for everything you are entitled to. Supervisors will not block your applications.
1. Bullying by cliques is severe, and there is a lot of gossip; some of it is quite disturbing.
2. Even at the construction site, you still have to deal with the attitudes of the accounting and general affairs departments.
