Applied for an administrative assistant position
1. Naturally, the interview began with a brief self-introduction.
2. As soon as the interviewer started speaking, they first asked whether I was interested in transferring to a sales position.
3. They explained that the administrative assistant would answer phone calls and arrange health examination schedules, and after passing the probationary period, would begin preparing to take on sales duties.
4. The sales position does not require visiting clients, but does require calling clients from the office to ask whether they are interested in adding health examination items. The clients had already arranged their health examinations; the task was simply to promote and ask whether they wanted to add other examination items.
5. If a sale is successful, there are bonuses and commissions to receive.
6. After the interview, I searched online and discovered that this is a multilevel marketing company focused on health examinations. Regardless of whether it has changed over the years, during the interview they repeatedly asked whether I had a strong interest in transferring to sales. Wouldn’t a multilevel marketing company need people like that to promote its services?
Because I personally strongly dislike multilevel marketing, I rejected this company (clinic). If you are interested, you can give it a try.
Pros? You must be joking.
The CFO clearly hadn't carefully reviewed the candidate's résumé at all.
The interviewer in the first round was a subordinate of the person in this position—WTF. He sat down without even introducing himself and asked about my salary expectations. Then, in the second round, the CFO complained that I shouldn't casually discuss salary with other employees—WTF. He is the employer's representative (so what the hell was the first round for?). Then, after seeing my salary expectations, he offered only 60% of that amount, claiming it was the maximum salary for the position, and said they would consider adjusting it after a six-month probation period. For fuck's sake, I'd already written my previous salary in my résumé. Who in their right mind would agree to that? And there was no year-end bonus either.
The position also involved taking full responsibility for closing the books and implementing a system. Do they think accountants grow on trees? Terrible company.
None
They stated unequivocally that they would notify me within two days regardless of whether I was hired, but in the end there was still no response... A company with such little credibility is not worth considering.
