Pros

None

Cons

The shipping supervisor is extremely controlling; everything has to be done exactly his way, word for word. If you don't comply, he will keep repeating himself like a broken record. Anyone considering joining the shipping department should be careful.

Pros

The company is located in a prime area, the benefits are fairly good, the hardware and equipment are sufficient, and there is flexible buffer time for commuting to and from work.

Cons

There is no overtime pay

There are many cockroaches around the office

The company has many employees; most are friendly, but some are indifferent

During the interview, the company emphasized that it was very professional and well-organized, but internally it is actually chaotic

The heads of different departments have serious disagreements, making it difficult to reach a consensus

There are many internal company meetings that are meaningless and waste time

The manager is domineering and micromanages many details, yet lacks even basic professional knowledge

There is no room to demonstrate your abilities at work; everything must be done according to instructions

The manager loudly rants at the company whenever things do not go smoothly, making everyone uncomfortable

No wonder the turnover rate is so high—the company is always hiring

People who want to work seriously are not suited to this place

Those willing to be corporate slaves can come here to experience it

Pros

One fully paid sick day every month

Every month, all employees celebrate birthdays together over afternoon tea

A free coffee machine available until 5 p.m.

Cons

If you want to experience a culture where incompetent commanders work their troops to death, this is guaranteed to be the place.

If you want to experience endless overtime, you can work here,

and there is no overtime pay.

If you do not cooperate with overtime work, just wait for your year-end performance review to result in an exceptionally poor year-end bonus.

If you cannot comply,

the company will use an excessive workload and long hours, combined with a poor performance review, to force you to leave.

The upper management works crazy overtime until seven or eight o’clock or later, and the lower ranks are expected to follow suit!

When you join, they go on and on about how positive the company is and how properly it is developing. But after staying for less than three months, you will discover that there is a reason the company’s turnover rate is extremely high.

The entire company is playing a game of incompetent commanders working their troops to death. People with fresh labor to offer and no family or children are very welcome to come and contribute.

Pros

The colleagues are very nice, and the benefits are fairly good.

Cons

There are currently two managers in the design department, and it depends on which one you are assigned to.

There is a high chance you will be assigned to the other manager, who is very difficult to work with. The people under them keep leaving—either because they cannot stand them or because they are driven away by them.

The manager and the business team often cannot reach a consensus. The manager also lacks the professional expertise to provide guidance, so you will waste a lot of time and have to redo a lot of work. Most importantly, they will not take responsibility for their own words and actions. Therefore, it is best to be self-reliant and not defy them; otherwise, they have a hundred ways to make you leave.

If you end up under the other manager, congratulations—you can continue working here for the time being. However, this company does not pay overtime, and it is common to work until 7 or 8 p.m., or even as late as midnight.

Pros

The benefits are okay, and the manager is a nice person.

Cons

The sales department has a strong overtime culture, and the division of labor is inefficient, leading to a lot of pointless busywork. The workload is too heavy (emails that aren't even things you should be handling will end up on your plate. It's kind of screwed—you feel like you're wasting your time).

Cons

An overtime culture / work is inefficient due to relationships with supervisors... because those at the top cannot be changed. People who want to get things done will become very frustrated.

Pros

The office is located in a prime commercial district with convenient transportation.

Cons

1. If you are very eager to join, be sure to confirm with HR which provisions of the Labor Standards Act the company follows, because after joining, you may discover that things are completely different from what you heard during the interview.

2. Team leaders and supervisors usually have significant differences of opinion, so meetings are always very chaotic.

3. The design team leader acts largely according to their mood. In addition to your own work, you also have to take their mood into consideration in order to get by.

Once you become a senior employee, the good days will come.
