A family business. The older brother oversees R&D (not very capable, but skilled at using petty tricks), while the younger brother manages sales (a fairly practical and down-to-earth salesperson). Most importantly, the older brother’s wife sits in a small room using company-funded surveillance software costing several million to monitor employees’ conversations on their computer communication applications... Then, internally, they said the company made no profit this year, so there would be no year-end bonus..... Later, everyone used their phones to speak honestly, while on the company computers they only said what the boss wanted to hear, to avoid being caught by the boss’s wife.
