Pros

1. The front desk staff were very friendly.

2. Water was provided during the interview.

3. The HR manager was very friendly; they should not be the person mentioned by the previous interviewee.

4. There was a written test consisting of simple Chinese, English, and logic assessments.

5. The interview process was actually quite relaxed and pleasant. This was mainly because the company location is relatively inconvenient—the walk from the MRT station to the company takes more than ten minutes—so the HR manager was particularly concerned about commuting. If your commute is long, they worry that you may not be able to continue accepting such a lengthy commute. They also asked about the reason for leaving my previous company and my greatest achievement in past work, among other things. Overall, the interview process was quite pleasant. They were quite willing to offer a good salary. The year-end bonus depends on the company’s annual operating performance, but personally, I think it would be at most one month’s salary and not more. Working hours are 9:00–18:00, with a flexible half-hour adjustment. The office is outside the interview room, and the work pace feels quite fast.

I hope the above helps anyone who is considering going for an interview.

Cons

None, because I did not receive an offer and therefore cannot comment on whether the job is good or bad.

Pros

I heard the benefits are shared with the Gamania Group.

Cons

I prepared for the interview by looking up PTT, but the interviewer opened with: “I don’t look at this. Please close it.” Later, they asked me to tell them about some of my strengths. I gave three examples, and they said they were all very dissatisfied with them. They then started saying that my abilities were very inadequate and asking why I wanted to interview with their company. To be clear, you were the ones who invited me.

I later found out that a friend also worked at the company (but has since left). They said that aside from the salary being slightly better than the industry average, everything else was really...well, you know. As it happened, the interviewer was also their supervisor. They said this supervisor often humiliates employees during meetings and never gives reasonable advice. Fortunately, I later declined the offer. You heard that right—they still gave me an offer in the end, which was very strange. (To be fair, the salary was a little higher, but really, only a little.)

Cons

The atmosphere here is very bad. When I joined, a certain manager resigned, and the person acting in their place seemed to have some kind of issue and caused trouble all day.

They also really like to take credit for themselves.

I wrote down areas that needed improvement, and they could change my name to theirs so that upper management would think it was their idea. The manager completely does not know how to lead people. When I asked a colleague what I should do, they actually said I shouldn’t ask that kind of question. I was truly dumbfounded.

This is under Gamania. The company environment is considered good, but the seating is completely open, so there is not much privacy.

If anyone wants to join my department, I think they should think twice if that colleague is still there.

Cons

During interview contact, they inquire about the operations of the previous company

and also ask about publicly available information

(Which platforms the previous company was listed on—couldn't they just look it up online?)

They do not focus on the applicant's abilities

It feels like they are using the recruitment process to gather information as well

Pros

A subsidiary of a large group, with good benefits.

Cons

There is poor communication between HR and the hiring manager. After discussing the position and its duties in person, I discovered that they were completely different from what was posted on 104—it was outrageous. My conversation with HR went fairly well, but the hiring manager had an arrogant attitude and was unwilling to learn more about the interviewee. Only at the end did he say what kind of work he was actually looking for, which was completely different from what was written on 104, wasting the job seeker's time.

Pros

The interview manager was very nice and spoke very sincerely.

Cons

As soon as the HR manager arrived, my positive impression dropped to zero.

She had absolutely no respect for the interviewee and made all kinds of snide remarks.

Her attitude was also extremely poor. HR represents the company’s image, so I sincerely think the HR manager should take a good, hard look at her attitude.

Pros

Close to the MRT, with quite a few tech companies nearby

Cons

While waiting, it didn’t really feel like an internet company; rather, it felt more like a traditional industry company. It was extremely quiet, and no one was talking.

During the interview, the manager kept talking, so I didn’t have a chance to ask questions. I didn’t think it was very good.

Pros

The pay is fairly good.

Cons

Most people at this company really like dragging things out. If you're efficient, you'll go crazy here from all the waiting, and your colleagues will usually keep asking you to do things ASAP. Then, after you rush to get everything done, they'll take an absurd number of days to review it. Otherwise, everything, big or small, has to wait for the boss's approval. If this were a small company, fine—but there are 70 or 80 people here, and even a small sticker has to wait for the boss's approval. What kind of efficiency is that? If you don't want to waste your life, don't apply.
