The company environment is pretty good. For a traditional manufacturing company, it isn’t located together with the factory, so it’s quiet and there are no odor issues.
The lunch menu is provided one day in advance every day, so you can choose what you want to eat. Occasionally, there are special meals such as steak, teppanyaki, and McDonald’s.
The colleagues are all nice, and the general environment is cleaned by a cleaning staff member, so you don’t have to clean the toilets yourself.
The starting salary is very low—essentially just the minimum wage.
The work is very miscellaneous, and there are especially many things to learn.
There is no overtime pay. They say it is a responsibility-based system, but given this salary, it simply does not match the idea of a responsibility-based system at all.
Every year, you will need to participate in the Taipei trade show and Taichung Week.
Since the factory is in Guangzhou, there is a possibility of being assigned to work in Guangzhou for around three weeks each year.
