Pros

There are three interviewers. The interview is conducted in a meeting room with an emphasis on privacy.

Cons

The company’s decor is that of a typical, very basic office, with fluorescent lights, a lightweight steel-frame structure, and a fire-resistant ceiling. This company places great importance on traditional Japanese values, and there are three interviewers in total. They repeatedly emphasized how much they value the company and the work. We got along very well at first. They said that obtaining certifications would lead to a pay raise, yet they also made you feel that certifications were of no use. In the end, I was not hired because I do not like to lie. When they asked about my future plans, I directly said that I would first obtain certifications and eventually start my own business. I was immediately reprimanded as if a pane of glass had been smashed, as though I had applied for the job just to deceive them into paying me a salary. Did they mean that I was expected to obey and remain loyal to the company for life? Naturally, I was not going to be hired. They were very polite, and the hierarchy between senior and junior employees was clearly observed—very Japanese indeed. But I am not here to retire; they kept lecturing me about my age, which was truly bewildering.

Pros

You can be very casual at work~ You can laugh and joke around all day~

No one should stop you from being loud and boisterous either.

You can take leave on a whim~

The biggest advantage is that there is almost no structure.

Cons

The salary increase is minuscule—tiny, tiny, tiny.

There is also no structured promotion system.

They all say that everyone should weather the difficulties together,

but the Japanese employees can still receive their generous benefits as usual.

Do you think being a large company means you get good benefits and a good year-end bonus?

No.............okay........!!!!

Well~ maybe it is still growing.

P.S. Suitable for coasting until retirement, because even if you do no work, your supervisor won't scold you!

Pros

No advantages

Cons

The stingiest foreign company. The company water dispenser doesn't provide enough water, yet everyone is told to conserve water and can only fill 500 cc. The company's systems are incomplete, job responsibilities are a complete mess, people shirk and pass the buck, and responsibility is pushed around. Whether there will be a year-end bonus is not announced until just before the Lunar New Year, which differs from what was discussed during the interview, when a year-end bonus was promised! Don't assume that a large company necessarily has well-established systems!
