Interviewed for a Quality Assurance Engineer position.
104 Job Bank listed the salary as NT$40,000–45,000 at minimum.
However, when I actually went for the interview, they offered a salary in the NT$30,000 range.
Is this really a company, or is it a scam?
I have several years of experience in management and plant construction in the same industry, having also worked my way up from entry-level positions. Thinking of returning home to develop my career, I applied here for a management trainee position. During the interview, the department manager chewed betel nut while telling me how capable he was and how good his people-management skills were, among other things. Then we discussed the salary: they offered me NT$28,000 per month, followed by empty promises that it might increase by another NT$3,000–5,000 after the probationary period. I was speechless—is this salary meant for a foreign worker? On top of that, this company’s mid- and senior-level managers don’t even set a basic example. I regret not checking the company’s reviews beforehand. Besides wasting gas money on a pointless trip, I ended up feeling sick and nauseated for the entire afternoon. This company is a real joke. After reading all the reviews, it really needs major reform.

Incompetent people with ambitions as high as the heavens can accomplish nothing except reversing right and wrong, deceiving the world to steal a reputation, and framing capable people.

The standard “Good news doesn’t travel beyond the house, while bad news travels a thousand miles.”
Post the good things you’ve done for your employees online, and someone will immediately come forward with some dirt to share.
You can learn how to be an obedient dog
Let's take a look at what the truth is about the management philosophy on 104.
-Company Vision-
All employees devote their efforts to make Fuhe a first-class enterprise among its peers worldwide.
>They brainwash employees by saying they want to become a first-class international manufacturer, yet they don't realize that the managers themselves are the ones with the least international outlook.
They keep painting grand pictures, but in the end, what gets handed out definitely won't be you.
-Management Philosophy-
Wisdom, benevolence, courage
>Having wisdom will get you treated as someone with a problem / Showing them benevolence will get you sold out / You need the courage to stand up to sycophantic supervisors.
-Quality Policy-
Achieve customer satisfaction through management and improvement methods.
>There is no management and no improvement; all there are is a variety of falsified reports deceiving customers.
-Environmental Policy-
*Comply with regulations*
>There are noncompliant workplace safety conditions everywhere; they falsify data to directly deceive government agencies.
*Continuously reduce waste*
>They secretly discharge exhaust at night and have the nerve to claim they reduce waste.
*Prevent pollution*
>It's really hard to say anything about the various discharges of waste oil.
*Educate all employees*
>They educate you to do nothing but listen to your supervisors, turning you into a spineless lackey.
*Emphasize communication*
>Communication is completely unnecessary, because everything is decided by a certain person.
If there were any, they are all things of the past.
This company needs slaves, not talent.
Corporate cockroaches wreak havoc here.
They use their authority to force out senior managers, then dismiss frontline employees without warning.
All because they were veterans of the previous administration.
I hear they recently promoted another batch of obedient slaves!
None. How could there be any?
1. The sales team's language skills are unbelievably poor, and they have absolutely no understanding of the products. Even though they handle overseas orders, they directly use Google Translate for customer emails; the wording is incoherent and awkward, and they were caught doing it.
2. During working hours, a certain senior decision-maker told department heads to go to a temple to pray. Apparently, official work could simply be left undone.
3. A certain senior decision-maker has pulled so many underhanded tricks behind people's backs that praying to any ghosts or deities would be useless.
4. They took on a pile of orders beyond their capabilities—not to make money, but to make friends—and exploited frontline employees to the extreme.
Whenever something cannot be completed, it's your problem; it has nothing to do with them.
5. People who have no sense of responsibility and only shirk, deflect, and pass problems down to their subordinates are truly unfit to be senior executives.
None
They call it internal reform, but in reality it is about eliminating dissenters
Anyone the people in power dislike will be removed
If you want to work there, you have to suck up to the right people
Choose the wrong faction and you'll be waiting to get fired
Colleagues are easy to get along with
1. A few years ago, a parachuted-in vice president arrived and, through internal power struggles, ousted the general manager at the time and climbed into the position himself.
After gaining power, he finds ways to get rid of anyone who is not part of his faction. To date, several highly capable senior executives have been forced out.
2. As mentioned above, if you are not part of his faction, you will never be promoted.
3. As mentioned above, although he himself is merely a contract-appointed manager, he brought his own son into the company to hold an important position, as though he owned the company.
4. It does not matter if you cannot do the work—as long as you are obedient and good at flattering him. If you work seriously and tell the truth, you will be fired under the bullshit pretext that you are damaging company morale.
5. You can work yourself to death without getting promoted, and you will still be stuck with the same stagnant salary. There have been a few raises, but they were only enough to leave you having to pay extra out of pocket even for a meal at Carboncoco. The promises are huge, but you will never get to enjoy the benefits.
6. On the surface, they talk a good game about having systems and procedures, but in reality there is absolutely no system at all! Required processes are completely ignored for the sake of convenience, ultimately exhausting the people at the bottom who are responsible for everything.
