Pros

Cons

The salary and experience for the job were known to all the other colleagues and teachers. When I first joined, I had to teach while taking exams, and every mistake made during the process was recorded. They kept saying that my salary was very high, that experienced people should not need training and should know how to do things themselves, and required me to meet performance standards without making any mistakes. When I asked whether the information about what needed to be done could be provided the day before, they said there was no such precedent—tasks were assigned and had to be completed on the same day. Multiple teachers taught at the same time. It felt like they wanted a cheap, fast, zero-error robot. Pros

None, I even had to wait a really long time for the interview at Mr. Brown Coffee,

Cons

The salary is terrible, the benefits are terrible, and you even have to travel to Taichung for the interview with no transportation allowance.

They also deduct a whole lot of money.

Pros

None. Choosing an outside Starbucks or McDonald's feels really not okay.

Cons

After the conversation, if both sides agree, they will ask you to go to the headquarters in Taichung for a second interview. It takes a long time, and you have to bear the expense yourself, with no travel subsidy. Moreover, the salary level is basically exploitative, and they even deduct 30,000 as risk assessment funds. They're already offering low pay and still making deductions.
