The HR team was very professional. When they called to invite me to an interview, they explained the job responsibilities very clearly and answered all my questions thoroughly.

The company is quite large and is located in Neihu. The office is impressively decorated and has a mezzanine level. It seems that the company in Taiwan is divided into headquarters and the Taiwan region; I interviewed for a department at the headquarters.

The hiring manager had a very international style and described the job responsibilities realistically, without making a lot of empty promises. They mentioned that I would often collaborate with colleagues overseas.

The company also seems to place a strong emphasis on English proficiency, giving it a somewhat multinational-company feel.

The salary offered was quite good, but I ultimately did not join because my current company persuaded me to stay.

Overall, I enjoyed the interview and felt that I learned something from it—an unusually positive interview experience, rather than one where I was simply grilled.

The office is in Neihu, so commuting to and from work should be taken into consideration.

Some staff groups are severely divided. There are many unwritten rules and regulations that even the Taipei company may not be very clear about...

Regular overtime, working until nine or ten at night.

The IT department at Diding Avenue has frontend, backend, data, and BA teams, but the entire organization is a complete mess. Every sprint is extremely rushed, yet there is no UI/UX team, so developers have to figure everything out themselves. On top of that, the backend and BA teams can sometimes be quite unreliable, making delays very likely. The funniest part is that the peak user traffic for the entire system is only four people.......

So the whole team is just hyping itself up and keeping pointlessly busy. I couldn't help but wonder what I was even doing there.... On top of that, the code is dirty and messy, and nobody refactors it. Sooner or later, the entire codebase will become impossible to trace, lol.

The two questions given before the interview were quite interesting.

They give you questions to solve.

Three interviewers will ask why you solved them that way.

The interviewers are all very capable and keep asking questions and posing additional questions in return.

Sometimes you even have to explain to them how things are done in practice, because it isn't taught in books and you haven't tried it before.
