Not compliant with the Labor Standards Act. I interviewed for a part-time job there in 2022, when the basic hourly wage was NT$168/hour. The store told me that during the initial probationary period (I forget how long), the hourly wage would only be NT$120/hour. They also had split shifts. If you’re looking for a part-time job, think twice—there are definitely better options!
The questions were very straightforward, such as why you wanted to work here. The interviewer was also very friendly.
The salary listed on 104 Job Bank was NT$30,000–35,000, but when I actually went to the interview, they said the starting salary was NT$23,800, and even with other additions, it would only reach NT$27,000 at most. The first seven days were a training period, during which the daily pay was calculated at only NT$600. Although labor and health insurance were provided, they would not enroll you until after the three-month probationary period. If you could not tolerate the job and left within the first three days, you would not even receive your wages.
