Pros

1. Getting along with younger colleagues is relatively pleasant.

Cons

1. Supervisors make decisions about whether you stay or leave based on hearsay and pieced-together information; when asked for reasons, they become evasive.

2. Those responsible for managing others not only fail to shoulder or share responsibility when things go wrong, but instead shift all the blame onto others.

3. Customers cannot be retained, and business is often sporadic; it is basically unprofitable, so the prospects are worrying.

4. The boss indulges in unrealistic fantasies all day, changes directives constantly, and is a typical exploitative employer.

Unless you want to waste your youth and enjoy low pay, I strongly recommend that you don’t come!!!

Pros

Probationary period: $27,000; permanent position: $29,000; includes three holiday bonuses plus labor and health insurance (all of these are also listed on 104.com.tw).

Cons

First, regarding the company’s colleagues:

This company is "constantly" recruiting (especially for International Trade Staff/Management Trainees + Sales Assistants + Overseas Sales Assistants = the same job), because Ms. "Wu" and Ms. "Jian" will force out people they dislike or who do not obey them.

1. Ms. "Wu" forced five people out between March and September 2015 (two "indirectly" and three directly [all three were senior employees, one of whom had been there for 15 years...]), while she herself has only been there for nearly four years to date... She frequently shifts her own mistakes onto others to highlight her abilities, and she also will not do the work of people she forced out (she has little ability and is only good at talking) (currently aged 34–37).

2. Ms. "Jian" has only 1 year and 7–8 months of experience (this is her first job), but she acts as if she is important. After working for less than half a year, she thought she was a "veteran employee." If she does not properly handle a task she assigned to you (her superior told her to do it, but she often pushes it onto new employees so she can leave work on time), she will "talk back aggressively" to you the next morning (and in an extremely unpleasant way~~!!! To put it bluntly, she acts as if she "owns the sea"~~!!). She also interferes with whom you chat with... She frequently speaks condescendingly, and even things outside her responsibilities will be met with her "snide remarks" (she knows nothing when asked, and also does not allow you to ask other people questions). ***According to someone who left a short while ago, she also "indirectly" forced approximately 3–4 people to leave (the type of petty person who spreads gossip).*** (currently aged 24–26).

3. Ms. "Zhan" has worked there for approximately 8–10 years. She is extremely "obnoxious" when speaking and cursing at people. She does not regard others and is extremely quick when scolding people (she never even bites her tongue) (currently aged 45–48).

Regarding the company:

1. The company is very happy as long as it earns more than 1 million in orders during a given month (because it often has very few orders...) + the owner has family members handling some production lines (so there are barely any costs).

2. The company has a history of more than 30 years and previously had three companies. (Now only one remains... because there is nothing new.) Many samples are not manufactured by any factory, but Ms. "Jian" and Ms. "Wu" know this and do not want to do anything about it. (Because it would increase their workload, and classification is not their responsibility either.)

3. The company frequently travels to mainland China for trade shows (mostly Shanghai; there are also shows in Taiwan, but fewer). Many samples are not manufactured by any factory but are still taken to trade shows, and business is often conducted using "substitute" or "similar samples."

Conclusion: People who join as International Trade Staff/Management Trainees, Sales Assistants, or Overseas Sales Assistants generally cannot last more than two months. Also, the fact that this company has been recruiting continuously from two or three years ago until now shows that its turnover is extraordinarily high. Even people who know how to do the work do not really teach others (because they do not stay long, are lazy, and either do not teach unrelated things or do not know how to teach them).
