Pros

Interview for a position at the head office...

1. You first complete a personality test. Afterward, the manager comes over to confirm the results and tell you what kind of person you are (whether you prefer working independently or in a team, and so on).

2. The interview then begins with questions and answers. The difficulty is not high, and the manager is fairly approachable.

3. The manager said that the company is developing steadily and currently has no competitors at the same level.

4. I can’t think of any other advantages...

Cons

1. The company has almost no benefits. There are no bonuses for the three traditional festivals. Does being able to purchase company products at a discount count? Haha.

2. Performance bonuses depend on the individual, while year-end bonuses depend on the company’s operations, so they are not guaranteed.

3. The office is not very large and is located in a standard mixed-use residential and office building. The employee seating arrangement is quite strange: everyone faces a wall or a window, forming a ㄇ-shaped layout, with the boss’s seat at the center below the ㄇ shape, allowing them to see what every employee is doing...

4. There was a second interview. They verbally said they would notify me again, but then there was no response...

Pros

Suitable for people who love to dream and live at home without financial pressure

Cons

1. Interviews are held in a café, where a bunch of passersby seriously gossip about your education and work experience.

2. The management trainee position offers NT$28,000; after deducting rent, you might actually be worse off than earning NT$22,000.

3. The company has lofty dreams (e.g., e-commerce and projects), but it has never considered how its employees are supposed to live. So you have to endure hardship and weather difficult times together. That is basically the logic behind it—don’t assume the culture is artsy just because they sell coffee.
