A Vietnamese QA lead is terrible—she works very slowly and likes to gossip with upper management, complaining that her testers work too slowly or do not work... But in fact, she herself has poor communication skills and often spreads rumors.
A group of testers has already left. Anyone planning to join as a tester should be careful.
There is not much collaboration between departments; people often pretend to be busy and refuse to help.

The R&D and testing departments are currently led by a female manager whose background is in the arts. She has only limited knowledge of software and technology. She became the head of the engineering department because she is very good at speaking, so she has managed the engineering department into a complete mess. Employees have communication barriers with her, so the atmosphere throughout the department is very poor.
She discriminates against pregnant employees, employees who have elderly people, children, or other family members at home who need care, and employees who take leave. She does not like employees who take leave, so when an employee needs to request leave, she appears on the surface to be very willing to approve it, but she speaks negatively about the employee in meetings, saying that taking leave has delayed official work. When hiring new employees, she also deliberately looks for people who do not intend to become pregnant, have no family members at home who need care, and do not like taking leave.
When recruiting new employees, she may clearly be looking for someone to perform role A, but ask people with expertise in role B to come for interviews, take tests, and write résumés in a specific format, ultimately not hiring them and wasting the interviewees’ time.
