啟宇營造工程股份有限公司
Pros

1. The salary and benefits are fairly good, with substantial and rapid raises.

2. The company provides one month’s bonus each for the Mid-Autumn Festival and Dragon Boat Festival. However, you must have perfect attendance and receive a sufficiently high performance rating from your supervisor; otherwise, you will not receive the full amount.

3. The company promotes cycling. Every Saturday, employees are expected to participate in cycling activities: cycling in the morning and returning to the construction site to work in the afternoon. Employees on leave must use their own leave to attend the activities. Cycling activities are held frequently, so cycling enthusiasts may want to consider applying. Cycling participation is included in performance evaluations, and insufficient attendance will affect your evaluation.

Cons

1. The company’s administrative staff work like civil servants, with regular working hours.

2. Construction-site staff have very little leave—five days off per month, including statutory holidays—and often have to coordinate substitute days off according to the construction site’s schedule. There is no comprehensive system for compensatory leave or substitute holidays.

3. The company uses a clock-in system for starting work but a responsibility-based system for ending work. There is no overtime pay. Basically, this should be considered noncompliant with the Labor Standards Act, and it also does not comply with flexible working hours. (?

4. It feels like the company is still developing. The overall systems do not seem very well established, and there are not enough staff. The workload is heavy, and employee turnover is very high.
