Pros

From entering the building all the way to getting into the elevator and going downstairs, everything felt extremely fake. Being treated like a VIP by the other employees was the only advantage.

Cons

An affiliated company in the “天下數位” group.

On the surface, the threshold for passing is low, but even when the answer is obviously correct—like 1 + 1 = 2—they directly shame you and say it is wrong.

Maybe the interviewer wanted to make things difficult or drive down the salary offered to new hires. It feels like a conspiracy!!!

Pros

None

Cons

Please improve the test machine. AMD 5200, 3 GB of memory—it completely freezes when running Android Studio. No wonder they say it takes several hours.

Also, they don't even know when asked questions.

Pros

1. Low interview threshold; you only need to practice writing the same old trigonometry problems by hand to pass.

- Input a float and output an unconditionally rounded-up integer (any programming language may be used; calling functions is not allowed).

- Input the lengths of three sides and output what type of triangle it is (not a triangle, equilateral triangle, right triangle, or other triangle).

Cons

1. The company atmosphere and culture are closed-off.

* You may only speak with members of your own department; talking to other departments is prohibited. Even if you encounter colleagues or supervisors in public, you are not allowed to greet them—confidentiality and counterespionage...

* Connecting to external websites that allow you to enter a username and password is prohibited, such as Gmail, Hotmail, Facebook, and so on.

* There does not seem to be an internal source-control system; everything is managed through a file server.

2. HR’s explanation is inconsistent with the supervisor’s.

* HR initially said the evaluation period would be three weeks, after which the salary would immediately be determined based on the results, ranging from 30,000 to 80,000. (After I passed, the senior manager said that this still wasn’t enough to assess my level, and that I would need to undergo another three-month test before the salary could be determined. What the hell—was the initial three-week period just for fun? = =)

3. Other unusual rules

* After officially starting work, I learned about the company’s rules: mobile phones must be locked in a cabinet, and access to them is allowed only during three ten-minute periods each day. It’s not like we’re doing military service...
