Pros

1. They do make a genuine effort to teach employees about the products.

2. The workload is not particularly heavy.

3. Learning about specialty fabrics and production methods is interesting.

4. The training period is quite long.

Cons

Working as an overseas sales representative

1. They remotely monitor employees’ computer usage. First, doing so without prior notice is illegal. Then, when you submit your resignation, they use this to make veiled threats. But if I chose to resign, I don’t know why they felt the need to say these things. Earlier, I even saw that they had installed a hidden camera... My time there was several years ago.

2. The boss is a middle-aged man who loves to nag. Under the guise of meetings, he would actually deliver meaningless reprimands, often unrelated to work. He also targeted individuals rather than addressing specific issues, even though I had no major problems with my work. At the time, I had a habit of clearing my throat, but it was not serious; nevertheless, he made it sound as though I had tuberculosis and repeatedly implied that I had deceived them into giving me the job by falsely claiming to be in good health 🤷‍♀️ (What kind of prestigious job would require anyone to deceive them?) I said on the spot that I could provide a health certificate (I have had one done almost every year), but the boss brushed it off vaguely.

3. There was no overtime pay, yet working overtime was customary. Employees took turns cleaning the entire company without being informed in advance. We also had to clean the air conditioners, but could not do it during working hours or start too early—for example, if work ended at 6:00 p.m., we could not start cleaning at 6:10 p.m. or 5:50 p.m.

4. There was no microwave, rice cooker, or similar equipment.

5. I was somewhat unhappy when I resigned, so I sent my resignation letter and the reasons for leaving to the entire department. However, they remotely deleted it and directly locked my computer.

Pros

None at all. If I really had to mention something, there are occasionally vendors to browse in the company courtyard, but the company itself has no advantages.

Cons

The manager is extremely disrespectful. Even when something was never taught, they would still harshly berate new employees.

They also hold grudges, and can blame you for one mistake for the rest of your life.

The training still wasn’t finished after a whole month, yet employees were expected to get up to speed quickly.

When questions were raised during training, the manager probably didn’t understand them either and would gloss over them without explaining.

They want the team to offer opinions, but whenever someone does, they interrupt halfway through and proceed to scold them.

They are narrow-minded and unable to accept any opinions at all.

Half of the workday is spent cutting fabric, yet they also demand that time be spent on development. It’s ridiculous.

Besides that, the manager’s English is terrible. When clients come in, it feels like they can’t understand what the clients are saying at all. They come across as rather impolite, which is embarrassing.

Seriously, don’t come work for this company.

Super weird.

Pros

None

Cons

The company has hidden cameras (without informing employees)

Same-day dismissal without notice (many people were laid off over two months; check the company's tax ID with the Employment Service Bureau and you'll know :) )

It might be going under. Do not go there under any circumstances
