Read the community guidelinesSuitable for those who want a stable job and don’t want to be laid off by the company (a place where you can coast, but people with ambition should stay away).
There is an annual employee trip, sometimes overseas (not bad, but it is not fully subsidized; the subsidy depends on seniority).
There is an annual bonus, but it is usually unlikely to be rated “outstanding,” which would be worth about two months’ salary (only an outstanding rating comes with a raise). Usually, employees receive an “A” rating worth one and a half months’ salary, and some even receive a “B” rating worth about half a month (because they are not at the managerial level =.=).
There is annual leave according to the Labor Standards Act, birthday gift money ($600), and gift money for the three major festivals ($1,200).
There is an annual year-end banquet (but not necessarily every year; if profits are poor, it may not be held. When it is held, the first prize is only around $20,000).
The managers almost all lack backbone and take no responsibility for their work; anything they have said counts for nothing. Whenever something goes wrong, they make the people below take responsibility. Disciplinary actions are always given to subordinates, while when there is credit to be awarded, only the managers receive recognition. The boss does not actually manage anything; the boss’s confidants run things instead. The confidants also do nothing but talk, and when something goes wrong, they are the quickest to run away and the best at shirking responsibility. In short, the company has no sense of unity and no clear goals. No matter how hard you work, the company will not give you a raise unless you submit your resignation. The company only guarantees the minimum wage as base salary; the rest is paid under the name of “holiday bonuses.” However, the holiday bonuses are not paid in the same month—they accumulate for three months and are paid in the third month (which is basically using your money to earn interest for the company =.=).
