The interview was very friendly and not stressful.

My colleagues were very helpful at work, and the supervisors were all very experienced. They also gave us the freedom to express ourselves, although there is still a lot to learn. The learning environment here is fairly good.

The work was enjoyable. Sometimes there were snacks to eat. The salary was fairly good.

The downside is that things are relatively flexible here, so people who want to slack off are naturally weeded out, resulting in many people coming and going. I had to leave because I became pregnant. I hope to come back to work here again.

The starting salary is fairly decent, and there is a small year-end bonus. The hyaluronic acid products the company distributes are quite good and are available through channels at almost all major hospitals in Taiwan, so the company's profits are very stable (but what employees can actually receive...)

The turnover rate is extremely high. Most of the managers basically just listen directly to the boss, but the boss is very fickle and loves making people do a bunch of things that he thinks are meaningful, wasting everyone's time. The company is transforming from distributing products to manufacturing its own medical devices. However, the vision is grand and the dream is beautiful, while everyone is already too exhausted dealing with the boss to keep up. All I can say is: pay close attention during the interview, so you do not end up wasting away after joining the company.

No water was provided during the interview... I filled out the paperwork at a table by the entrance... There was no privacy.

After finishing, I waited for more than half an hour... before seeing the boss come in.

The boss was completely unprepared for the interview... “The secretary notified me, so I only then found out there was an interview.”

They flipped through my résumé while asking random questions: “I’ll ask you three questions... then you ask me three questions.”

They spoke “very slowly... very, very quietly.”

Everything they said was along the lines of, “Our company has many PhDs... I’m also a PhD in pharmacy... I know regulations very well.”

It was obvious that they were completely unfamiliar with people who want to enter the industry... They only used the same approach they had decades ago when talking with the interviewee... and constantly “confirmed” things with the interviewee, wanting the interviewee to “agree” with what they said (even when it was wrong).

Finally, when asked why they were hiring someone for the position... “I don’t know... HR selected them all.”

As an additional note... the interview was scheduled for Friday at 17:30!

With this kind of attitude... I recommend not wasting your time going to the interview!
