Read the community guidelinesPreviously a drafting engineer, also responsible for PCB design. The work was fairly easy.
Low salary, few opportunities for pay raises, company policies are no match for the boss’s word, and poor working conditions—you can see cockroaches and huntsman spiders everywhere.
The company has a covered parking area.
PCB Drafting Assistant Interview Experience:
I filled out the standard form first, as usual, and then waited nearly 15 minutes before the interviewer came out.
The interviewer glanced at my résumé and only asked when I could start at the earliest.
After explaining the working hours and compensation, they sent me away.
From walking in the door to leaving, it took only 30 minutes. I got the impression that they were looking for a graduate from a relevant department.
It felt like HR had not properly reviewed my résumé on the job bank before calling me in for an interview.
The day before the interview, HR proactively called to invite me. During the call, I asked twice: “Are graduates from unrelated departments eligible?”
HR replied, “It’s okay—just come in for an interview and see.”
But when I arrived, they were actually looking for a graduate from a relevant department, completely wasting the interviewee’s time.
Also, the job bank states that the company has 80 employees, but the interviewer repeatedly emphasized that it is a small company.
Judging by appearances, there were probably fewer than 20 actual employees? Older women and fresh graduates each made up about half.
Job duties: Not explained, but the job bank only listed PCB drafting and administrative tasks.
Working hours: 8:30–18:00, two days off per week
Compensation: Base salary of NT$19,000 + NT$2,000 transportation allowance + NT$2,000 meal allowance + NT$2,000 bonus = NT$25,000
There is no salary-increase system. The interviewer directly stated that it is a small company and that whether you get a raise depends on whether the boss likes you.
