Pros

You can leave work on time; whether you work overtime depends on the department/project situation and your own preferences. The company does not encourage overtime, and if there is a need, you can apply for overtime pay.

A traditional-industry family business. In terms of salary and benefits, it ranks from the upper range to top-tier level among similar industries. Compared with well-known large companies in the technology industry, it is probably around the middle level.

Regarding the bonus system, in addition to the evaluation standards of each supervisor, overall the company is profitable. When it earns more, it is willing to distribute more; when profits are lower, it still increases bonuses to a basic level.

Cons

The culture leans toward stability and harmony. Most colleagues are easy to get along with, and the company often organizes activities and supports employee clubs.

Because the company is relatively stable, most of the highly senior managers who hold decision-making influence tend to be more conservative or blindly follow established practices. They are still working to reconcile this with the innovations and related policies the owner wants to promote, so employees who are driven may feel constrained.

It is understood that the company’s policies and operations have undergone significant changes in recent years, and management in the business and R&D-related departments also differs considerably from the past. It is recommended that you ask the interviewing manager or HR yourself, or refer to more up-to-date information.

You can also refer to other reviews and judge for yourself whether the department or manager you are interviewing with is a good fit for you.

Pros

There is a birthday meal every month (with steak).

Cons

Some managers and senior executives have relationships involving sexual favors.

No matter how many words are spoken, they can never outweigh pillow talk.

The people at the bottom are replaced batch after batch, while less and less work gets done.

More and more is dumped on others—truly, each generation is worse than the last.

Pros

They seem to really love small animals. As soon as you enter, you can hear dogs barking. I heard that employees can bring their pets to work, so it should be a very open and international company. The premises and building are spacious, and you can even park outside. The interview is held in a meeting room on the first floor. The HR staff are quite friendly. Before the interview, you first fill out a bunch of basic information. The environment feels quiet and clean, and the interviewer is nice too.

Cons

Actually, it was okay. However, during the interview, they give you an English article to translate into Chinese within a limited amount of time. If your English isn't good, it's probably best not to apply on impulse, otherwise you may feel very discouraged, because the interviewer will carefully examine the article you translated and ask questions such as, “Why did you translate it this way?” or “No matter how you look at it, this sentence couldn't possibly mean that...” and so on. Actually, after reading the article, I thought the interviewer should already have a good idea of your level, so there was no need to ask questions like that, because the interviewee translated it that way precisely because they didn't understand it very well XD

When I interviewed there, I had just graduated. I felt that this place might not be suitable for fresh graduates with completely blank résumés, unless you majored in a foreign language. It would probably be easier to handle the interview and less easy to get nervous if you had some experience before applying.

Pros

1. You can learn a lot from consultants: Every department has externally hired consultants, and then the consultants report to the boss (on the other hand, the boss is not leading the team). The consultants are well-known and very capable. They also charge high fees. But the relationship between good consultants and the company's revenue and operations... Employees also have to listen to the consultants...

2. You can develop a logic of comprehensive thinking: A proposal requires all-round consideration, and every decision has to take costs, resources, methods, and everything else into account. You have to think for yourself, because the boss only wants to know your ideas. The boss has the right to make the final decision. Sometimes that right is held by someone unrelated. Also, if you have to think about so many things..........

3. Managers delegate extensively: Managers only need to provide guidance from the sidelines. Their daily work is simply to take what the boss assigns them and pass it on to the people below them. So you can discover the function of a human megaphone: the boss scolds the manager, and the manager scolds the employees. Otherwise, they just say it was the subordinate's fault. Such responsible and honest managers. They directly push the boss's assignments onto their subordinates.......

4. You can learn to develop a sense of responsibility: You have to help even when it has nothing to do with you. Capable people have to help the incompetent. Then the incompetent people never have any problems, and they do not receive any extra bonuses either. You can learn to be tolerant. So we can learn not to keep arguing about raises and bonuses. The amount of extra work and your salary will be related......

5. You can learn a great deal about corporate management systems: The company is introducing many systems because it wants to become international. So employees work desperately to learn the systems. Then they ask you to think about how these systems can help you and how much time they can save the company. This is very similar to point four. Good systems and the company's revenue.....

6. You can learn public speaking: The boss hopes that presentations will be delivered like Steve Jobs. So the requirements for presentations are very high, and you can learn a lot. You can give presentations like Steve Jobs and receive the same salary...... After employees leave, they can make a living from public speaking.........

7. You can learn benevolent lies: They do not like hearing the truth, so you have to learn the art of speaking.

Cons

None. They are all advantages.
