If you really can't find anywhere else to go, consider it. It's basically a family business, divided into retail stores and back-office positions. Hiring prioritizes relationships and impressions, with expertise coming last. In my experience, people are often considered to have very little to do, so even if you work through your lunch break, more tasks will still be assigned to you.
Management mainly relies on punishment (fines); rewards are best taken with a grain of salt. I haven't heard of anyone in the back office receiving a reward for over a year.
Additionally, hiring is based on keeping costs as low as possible. Therefore, I recommend studying some of the Labor Standards Act, Fire Services Act, and Occupational Safety and Health Act beforehand. During the interview, ask the interviewer to show you around the workplace, paying particular attention to the fire-safety facilities, passageways, escape routes, building layout, and so on.
The main reason I mention the Labor Standards Act is that, when I first joined, I signed a fixed-term contract under the pretext of a probationary period. Whether things improve afterward is something brave applicants will have to observe for themselves.

The pay isn’t high, but the expectations are fairly high, plus they give you a big pie to nibble on.
