To be frank, the company operates entirely under a responsibility-based work system (no overtime pay and no compensatory leave)......

Before coming to interview at this company, I had actually already received offers from two other companies.

Since this company happens to be located next to my wife’s company..........I decided to come and see whether there might be any unexpected surprises after receiving the invitation.

Position interviewed for: Materials Management Staff (materials control/production planning and control) .....More than five years of experience

Interviewer: Plant manager (the owner’s son), quite young.......

So he was somewhat inexperienced at conducting interviews.........

Content: Upon arrival, I first had to handwrite the company’s standard résumé........and answer questions about my understanding of the company (only two sheets of A4 paper in total).

Then, after the interviewer arrived....I gave a brief self-introduction....discussed my areas of expertise....and explained how I handled matters in my previous experience.

The process was fairly relaxed............There was nothing particularly difficult.

However, the interviewer could not provide the salary for this position. He would need to conduct a second interview or discuss it with the chairman (his father) before being able to respond.

In the end, he emphasized that this position operates under a responsibility-based work system...........with no overtime pay and no compensatory leave............and that I might also have to come in on holidays to handle matters.

He was an extremely candid person.........I can only give him credit for that..........

Of course, I also realized that today’s interview was essentially a waste of time..........As expected, I couldn’t expect any surprises.
