On October 30, 2019, I was notified to attend an interview. After the department manager interviewed me, they said I had been hired and asked when I could start work. I replied that I could start on November 4, and the department manager also said that I should come in and report for work on November 4. As a result, I submitted my resignation to my current employer. However, on November 1, I received a phone call asking me to return to the company because the plant manager wanted to conduct a second interview. After I went to the company, the plant manager told me that I had not been hired and that I should wait for further notification. This is an extremely disappointing company with no credibility at all. Anyone planning to interview there should think twice.
Employee benefits are somewhat better compared with other traditional industries, but salary levels are still below average, and pay raises are extremely small. They nitpick over everything and are stingy and miserly. The bosses are entrenched in outdated practices: they say everyone should endure difficult times together, but not working overtime is considered harmful to the company and a sign of lacking empathy. They even threaten junior employees! In addition, departmental responsibilities are distributed abnormally. There are even senior employees who use their seniority to subject newcomers to subtle bullying. It completely lacks the appearance of a modern enterprise, and progress still seems a long way off.
