Pros

Pros:

There are no pros.

Cons

A terrible company

Cons:

1. The company is a partnership, and one of the two bosses is unbelievably incompetent. He does not know how to manage, yet gossips every day, prying into whether people's periods have arrived and whether what they are wearing looks good. It is extremely creepy. He thinks overweight employees should not wear crop tops, but praises slimmer employees whenever they do, saying they look great. He also tells employees to exercise and lose weight at the gym and dictates what styles of clothes they should buy and wear, making it feel like he is holding a beauty pageant. When performance is poor, he starts laying people off and has even been warned by the labor bureau. It feels like a company that might intentionally shut down.

2. The company's bonus system is based on deception. The rules can be changed three times in one month. When everyone threatened to resign collectively, they changed the system again and then went back on it, but ultimately set a performance target that could not be achieved. In other words, they deceived everyone four times. It would be more honest to say that the company did not make money and cancel the bonuses, rather than deceive people and deliberately make things difficult for employees, nitpicking and making it look as though the problem was everyone else's fault. This is clearly a prime example of poor management and bad hiring, yet they keep avoiding the issue.

3. The company's finance department is basically just decoration. It does not handle account reconciliation, payments to suppliers are frequently duplicated or omitted, and salaries are sometimes left unpaid. They always say they are busy at work, while continuously shopping online and watering their plants. This person makes sarcastic faces and gossips all day, reporting colleagues for being late, leaving lights on, or not turning off the air conditioning, while refusing to admit when he himself leaves them on. He burps while walking, like he is clubbing—unbelievably noisy. Every new employee he has singled out has either resigned or been laid off. He is a person who sets the tone, and a truly terrible one at that. He also harasses male colleagues and forces them to call him “Sis,” even though he is already fifty and should be called “Auntie.” During work, he sends selfies and demands that people reply with whether he looks good, and even asks them to like his posts on Facebook. It is truly nauseating. This person has a very good relationship with the boss. Even though everyone in the company hates him, the boss still expects everyone to accept him. This highly unusual relationship could really destroy the company. In short, the finance person is a toxic tumor—a rotten apple.

4. The sales assistants act like managers. They secretly hide away to watch TV shows, refuse to do some tasks and pass others along, and exclude new employees. They use “training new employees” as an excuse to dump all their own work on them. Then they chat at the office and leave late, creating the illusion that they are very busy and working overtime. They also deliberately put on a performance in front of supervisors, claiming that the new employees cannot handle anything and that they have to clean up after them. In reality, they never properly trained or handed over the work from the beginning; they only keep stepping on others to prove how capable they are.

5. The sales department is even stranger. The company does not maintain a proper image: all the lights are turned off, leaving the place dark, and everyone wears slippers to work, making it look like a massage parlor. When performance is good, the boss does not intervene; once performance is poor, management becomes even more afraid to act. The sales manager at this company is very forceful and has many customer lists, so the boss is afraid that she will leave and build a large business elsewhere. As a result, the boss gives her everything she wants. In reality, she only talks and frames people in other departments. When performance drops, she just blames current events, such as the pandemic, poor lead times, or shipping irregularities, and starts shifting responsibility to other departments.

6. The procurement department is simply ridiculous. The procurement manager does not understand procurement procedures and was parachuted in from shipping. He only knows how to bluff. He randomly finds a few obscure original manufacturers and then acts as though he has found a major IC manufacturer, telling the boss that he has extensive connections and experience. He even thinks he is the company president and occasionally threatens people, saying he will ask the boss to fire them. The entire procurement department hates him. He is very happy that he gets along well with finance, but he is merely a manipulated fat man, eagerly acting as that person's lackey all day, bullying other colleagues while collecting a high salary. The company's hiring practices and systems are problematic from top to bottom.

Conclusion: This is a company where the boss cannot distinguish right from wrong. On top of that, there are many long-serving employees who try to get rid of others to secure their own positions and collect their performance bonuses. The fewer people there are, the better their numbers look. If you are kind and have trouble refusing people, do not come here under any circumstances. If you absolutely must come, your starting salary should be at least 60,000, and you should study and memorize some TV-drama-style manager scripts. If you can bluff, you can get a high salary. If you want to learn and work seriously, I do not recommend coming here, because this place is more like a nightclub than an electronics company. For men, it may be a different story, but be careful not to be treated as a tool.
