Read the community guidelinesDidn't encounter any; you could say there are practically none.
The company says it wants to develop AI, but has neither GPUs nor computing power, and wants to outsource everything.
When joining, you have to sign a confidentiality agreement, but you also have to use your own laptop, operating system, and office software. It's unclear how anything can be kept confidential.
They call themselves an information technology company, but have no internal information security measures whatsoever.
Reimbursement for expenses paid in advance takes at least two months on average to come through. Before I left, I heard this had been going on for many years.
The company has a high turnover rate, and many of the managers responsible for business matters are out of touch with the situation.
I heard that when matters aren't urgent, the manager is very good at making their presence felt and pretending to be busy, but when things reach a critical moment, they mysteriously disappear.
The managers and the boss know almost nothing about technology; they only make many demands based on things they've imagined and expect their subordinates to solve them.
The water dispenser has been dirty for years, and I've seen cockroaches crawling around during work hours. If you're going for an interview, remember to bring your own water.
The company's core business isn't AI; it just wants to ride the wave of interest in AI. If you genuinely want to develop a career in AI, I recommend not going there.
Hard to say
I left shortly after joining the company...
- Everything at the company is dirty and old. Cockroaches have been living in the water dispenser for years. New employees, please do not touch the water dispenser, or you will end up drinking cockroach water.
- The company does not provide laptops, even though its own business is equipment procurement.
- The systems are terrible. You cannot get reimbursed for expenses you paid upfront unless you keep chasing them. I heard that a former colleague once fronted nearly as much money as their salary, but had to wait two months to get it back.
- Except for the technical manager, every manager in the company likes to push work down to their subordinates. They do not do things themselves; after claiming that something has been done, when asked about it they start making excuses about how it was done before, when in reality it was never done.
The company is very small and somewhat disorganized, the environment is not very good, it is a family business, labor and health insurance contributions are underreported, and the boss seems like a good person but is actually somewhat scheming.......
