Everything has to be done according to the company's "secret manual." Senior employees like to pull rank and show off in front of the boss, then act like a different person once the boss leaves. No wonder the entire company is constantly replacing people—it’s not without reason.

If you do, the team leader will report you to upper management, and you can expect to get chewed out.
If the team leader dislikes you, just expect to be assigned every task.
