I received an invitation from the company to attend an interview, but the interviewer clearly had not reviewed my résumé. After casually asking me a few questions, they said, “Sorry—the job might not be suitable for you!” Why waste everyone’s time? I really felt disrespected.

The boss himself is genuinely very passionate about travel and highly knowledgeable. He is eloquent, yet does not come across as quite as mercenary as the owners of typical travel agencies. However, he still has all the habits traditionally associated with Taiwanese bosses. He is extremely “frugal” with everyone, including himself, and is also overly authoritarian and unwilling to listen to advice. As a result, employee turnover is very high, making this company the best pre-employment training institution for employees of other travel agencies!
Although this company markets itself around themed, in-depth, and distinctive travel, its excessively high employee turnover means it has never been able to maintain a professional team capable of supporting these top-tier travel products. Therefore, this company can only serve as an entry point into the travel industry, not as a long-term place to build a career; otherwise, it may limit your future development.
The boss has a bad temper and gets angry easily, treats employees as disposable, exploits workers, and has a high employee turnover rate. Even managers are suppressed by the boss’s son.
