The turnover rate in the e-commerce department is extremely high. A group of people previously left the department, and the current employees have all been with the company for less than a year—only a few months. Only Ye X Wei and the department supervisor are senior employees, so there is a very significant experience gap in the department. During the interview, they hired me on the spot. This company has no real SOP for onboarding new employees; every day, they teach you whatever suddenly comes up, and you never know what will be taught or when—it’s like scratching a lottery ticket. On top of that, new employees are not allowed to take notes at work!
Even more outrageous, the handover and training materials prepared by former colleagues were not brought out for use until long after the new employees had joined!
Only then do new employees find out: Oh, so this thing exists~
Then, within just a few days of joining, they expect you to get up to speed immediately. They even swear at new employees, calling them idiots and the like, and belittle them by saying they are incapable, etc.
They have very little patience.
Ye X Wei is the department’s feudal lord.
This company’s position is one huge, rotten shit job—they’re just looking for someone to take over!
The turnover rate is higher than the Himalayas, and there is also a feudal lord who swears at and belittles new employees!
A toxic garbage company—don’t come! They’re looking for a scapegoat. Run!!!!
The work environment is pretty good
The manager is very nice (an angel of a manager)
The building is beautiful
Project requirements don't really pressure you with deadlines
The work isn't stressful at all (very easygoing)
If you just want to coast in a job, you can come here. But if you're passionate about writing code, I recommend against it
The salary is very low
Most colleagues aren't passionate about writing code
Because the manager is very nice, conversely, they also don't enforce some basic requirements for the quality of the team's code
It's somewhat like a battle royale—the code is extremely messy
For example, people write things like this:
if (Ok == true) {
// 🍳 The result is OK, so we get here, BadRequest???????
return BadRequest()
}
Also, there is no documentation, so reading other people's code is very painful
Fortunately, there isn't much pressure here, so if you just want to collect a paycheck, you can come here
