Pros

1. Basic training is well established

2. Comfortable work environment

3. Relatively generous salary

4. There is a clearly defined career development plan

5. Suitable for people who have become indifferent to everything and just want to coast until retirement

Cons

I originally thought I would be able to learn some management experience here,

but I was completely mistaken.

I spent several years working my way up to a junior management position,

and gradually realized that there are no systems or management here at all.

The management team is relatively young, and the following situations are common:

1. Friends join the company together and spend every day happily having fun

2. You can count the number of days the store manager is actually in the store each month on one hand

3. As long as you do not follow management's wishes, you will be accused of made-up mistakes and singled out

4. The highest-ranking manager has no independent judgment and goes back on what they say

5. Cliques are so severe that managers act without distinguishing right from wrong

6. Mistakes that have occurred never receive a conclusion or disciplinary action

7. The management team applies double standards: some people are punished for violations, while violations by others are simply ignored

8. There is absolutely no career planning for employees. Even if you accomplish nothing today, the final conclusion is that you should take responsibility for yourself. No manager gets involved in your growth along the way, helps you develop, or helps you integrate more quickly.

Because the management team is relatively young, they sometimes make comments

that employees find meaningless and feel are simply a waste of time.

Pros

The office is clean and comfortable, and everyone uses Mac computers.

The office is usually very quiet (whether this is a pro or a con depends on the person).

Cons

(I interviewed for a design position, so there was a practical test.)

Someone from Marketing came out to receive me. After I filled in the information at an office desk,

they told me to take a computer-based test first. There were three tasks: 1. DM 2. Paper shopping bag 3. Digital signage. They also didn’t tell me how much time I had for the test.

After an hour and a half, they asked whether I was finished and said I could only continue until a specific time (five minutes later).

Then I went into a meeting room, where I was interviewed by two Marketing supervisors together.

They both asked about the concepts behind the work I had just done and questions about my portfolio, to understand my previous experience and why I had left those companies.

And then that was it! They completely skipped introducing the responsibilities of the position, the company’s working and break hours, and the benefits and compensation. They also showed no intention of letting me ask questions and seemed eager to get rid of me, brushing me off with just one sentence: “If you are hired, we will notify you separately.”

I hadn’t even applied to the job myself; the company had invited me to interview through 104, and they were the ones who scheduled the time.

In conclusion, if you’re not the person they’re looking for, they’re very eager to rush you out.

Overall, they were extremely disrespectful. They call themselves the LV of the hot-pot industry, but the way their internal staff treat people is worse than bargain-stall merchandise!
