Some colleagues are pretty nice.

The following is all just something I dreamed up.

I dreamed that after working for less than half a month, I was suddenly told one morning at work that I was being fired for not producing any business results. Ha. The job listing on Slave Bank said they were hiring for marketing, but in reality they wanted salespeople—specifically, the kind who can immediately bring people into the store to spend money as soon as they start work. Maybe you need to bring your entire family—your parents, siblings, relatives, and friends—in to spend money once each before you can meet their targets!

During the job, you have no designated desk, no computer, no landline, and no business cards. You even have to bring your own laptop to work. The company will not apply for a company email account for you either. To contact clients, you have to use your own email and Instagram, and even Facebook has to be your personal account. Then the supervisor keeps emphasizing that what they want is numbers, but what they say is different every time. Every conversation makes you feel that they are extremely impatient, and their attitude is deeply uncomfortable. When you run into a problem, you really don't dare ask questions. They told me to do local promotion, but I had no business cards or landline. After I raised this, the answer I got was: “Why don't you send an email first?” And they even call themselves marketers. Ha. How many people actually read email nowadays?

Marketing is marketing, and sales is sales—why deliberately blur the two? Fine, asking me to do sales work isn't impossible, but anyone who has worked in sales knows how important business cards and a landline are. You need them for visits and street canvassing too, right? (Otherwise, if you just approach some random person on the street, wouldn't they think I'm a scammer?) Or was I expected to print my own cards and use my personal phone to make contact? (Then you should have just said so.) At first they said they would provide a list of contacts, but later they changed their story and told me to find people myself. Throughout the whole period, they really never spoke to me kindly even once.

I joined for a little over two weeks. During that time, there were four days off, three days of training, one day spent at the store familiarizing myself with internal procedures, and one day when I was dismissed. Counting it all up, I actually worked only seven days. I had to find people to come into the store for trial experiences, find people to come into the store and spend money, do local promotion, seek cross-industry partnerships, and receive public-relations clients. The job responsibilities were never clearly communicated, and the KPI kept changing. In the end, I was dismissed on the grounds that I had failed to meet work-performance requirements and had not carried out tasks assigned by my superiors. Ha ha, ha ha ha. I really am grateful—thanks for nothing.

Even when leaving the job, I had to sign a written declaration. The first line said that I voluntarily agreed to resign, and it also stated that after leaving, I was not allowed to go around saying bad things about the company.

Okay, that was all just a nightmare I had. It was all dream talk. If any of it sounds familiar, take it up with P4.

None

Superiors say something different every time, have a very poor attitude, and lack communication skills. I can only say that this was the most unpleasant work experience of my life.
