Read the community guidelinesI was hired by the boss as a temporary worker. Basically, the work environment was okay since it had air conditioning. The work itself was not difficult, but it did require some physical strength and stamina. The boss probably has obsessive-compulsive tendencies, so the company was quite clean.
The boss spoke very disrespectfully and led in an authoritarian manner. It felt like all the subordinates were extremely intimidated by him. Even though I wasn’t an employee he had hired directly, he still spoke to me in a very contemptuous tone. No wonder people can’t stay and they have to hire temporary workers—who would want to come here and put up with this for no reason?
(After I reported this to the staffing agency, the company said that the boss was actually a nice person and that he just had a bad mouth.) In any case, I’ll pass on this kind of working relationship for now.
The compensation mentioned during the interview seemed fairly good.
They did not clearly say whether I was accepted or not, saying they would notify me after three days. In reality, there was no notification at all, and they closed the position on their own. A company that wastes job seekers’ time—shouldn’t they at least proactively inform candidates even if they are not selected?
