The work itself is something I enjoy.

1. Colleagues scheme against one another; if someone dislikes you, they dislike you, and they don’t need any reason.

2. Even if you work overtime to the point of exhaustion, that’s your problem. Speaking up is useless—the manager considers it something you’re supposed to do.

3. The sales team is everything!! Those of us in the support and back-office units assisting sales are expected to work ourselves to death!!

4. The manager messages you on LINE in the middle of the night, and the report is due the next day.

5. The manager has no sense of responsibility and only knows how to pass work from outsourced engineers back to the team members.

6. The manager doesn’t understand the operating procedures and often just talks without taking action. They frequently have no idea what’s going on, and after going around in circles, things still end up back where they started.

7. The performance targets are sky-high!! Although performance doesn’t affect my salary, it still affects the company’s overall morale.

8. HR interprets many things according to their own views and doesn’t really listen to others’ opinions. Maybe it’s because these pros and cons have nothing to do with them, so they can’t empathize.

9. There are too many bad incidents to list. If you’re applying for a job, please be careful on your own XD

3. The pressure isn’t very high, and most employees leave work quite early.

1. The company’s IT department is very incompetent. When problems arise, they only tell us to restart the computer, or warn us that we have exceeded our network data limit. The rest of the time, they just chat or peel apples.

2. Some longtime employees throw their weight around. The boss of one of these longtime employees often travels between Hong Kong and Taiwan. Perhaps the longtime employee is afraid of losing the opportunity to go to Hong Kong for dim sum with the boss, so whenever a new employee joins the same department, they speak to them very harshly.

3. There are very few attractive women.

4. One of the company’s business units has annual revenue exceeding 750M, yet there isn’t even Wi-Fi available.

5. The actual work differs significantly from the job description.
