Pros

1. You can constantly meet new colleagues because people change very quickly.

2. You can learn many things, since the boss will have you do everything.

3. You may complete the entire project yourself, so it feels like you don't need the company.

4. You can meet many vendors, but there probably won't be an opportunity to work with them again.

5. Try to maintain a certain distance from the boss; otherwise, the demands on you will keep increasing.

Cons

1. The boss is used to throwing employees out on their own and letting them fend for themselves.

2. You will often hear threatening remarks, such as saying you cannot leave work and go home until the task is finished.

3. The boss often waits until remembering something before asking you to do it.

4. When you communicate with the boss, they will criticize you for being too stupid.

5. The schedule is always packed tightly because the boss thinks this is the most efficient way to work, yet deliveries are delayed every time.

Pros

1. The boss treats people differently: he is very polite to some employees but extremely rude to others. You don't necessarily have to suck up to him or be a relative of his; being highly capable and on the same wavelength can also work.

2. The coworkers are easy to get along with, but turnover is high, so it's uncertain who you'll be dealing with if you join now...

3. There isn't much infighting.

4. There are lots of places to eat nearby, so it's great being able to switch things up often.

Cons

1. The company is basically focused on taking on project bids and making quick money, with simply getting things past the finish line being enough—quality is not required. It has tried several times to develop products, but has never invested in any new personnel.

2. Low pay.

3. The boss claims he used to write code; the engineers would say......

4. There used to be a good team, but they all left. Occasionally, a good employee happens to join, but...

5. Projects are often inexplicably abandoned midway. The boss informs you very late—or forgets to inform you—leaving you waiting around cluelessly.

6. The boss opened a nail salon of questionable quality for his wife, claiming that they were hiring someone to design and plan the brand. However, the boss's wife has very strong ideas of her own, so...

7. The company has been hiring perpetually. Much of the work is outsourced, and when the planner spends time finding a good outsourcing team, it often gets rejected. The boss will quickly recommend someone he knows, saying: “Look, this person only needs XXXX dollars to make the same thing. The one you found is over budget.” But what actually gets produced is mostly unusable... an endless loop.

8. They don't like using licensed software.
