I originally applied for a teaching position, but the job ultimately turned into telemarketing. At the beginning, we were assigned to groups to learn how to talk to parents and use sales scripts. The sample list for scheduling appointments by phone was clearly insufficient and had not been updated, so we still had to repeatedly make calls, some of which were already members. After securing an appointment, we simply asked other teachers to discuss the sales of teaching aids and courses. The commission bonuses were low, and there were also various events that required support.
The staff seem friendly.
They notified me to attend pre-employment training, but because I felt unwell that day, I left early.
They said they would notify me separately of the time for the pre-employment training.
Later, when notifying me for the second time, the supervisor sent the wrong time via LINE.
(The original time was 10:00–16:30, but the supervisor notified me that it was 10:00–10:30.)
I did not suspect anything at the time, so I scheduled private plans for the afternoon.
It was only on the day itself that I realized this was their humiliating tactic.
I felt extremely uncomfortable.
