The responsible pharmacist, He Xianmao, is truly a typical exploitative employer. As if the workload weren’t already demanding enough, the owner’s daughter, He Yuzhen, also requires employees to help clean private areas of her home, clean the bathroom, and take out the trash. I’ve never seen a company exploit its employees this much. I worked there for three years, and they always said they would give me a raise if my performance was good, but after three years I was still only earning minimum wage. I also had to double as a domestic servant in their home. Ridiculous. Most importantly, the store sells self-paid weight-loss drugs containing illegal ingredients. The source of the raw medicinal powder is unknown; they have pharmacy assistants portion and fill it into capsules, then sell them to customers. The key point is that the owner leaves these illegal activities to the pharmacist, who then passes the compounding and sales on to the pharmacy assistants, so the owner doesn’t have to get their own hands dirty. If you don’t want to incur criminal liability as a result of your work, do not apply.
