The interview took place at the store, and I was told on the spot that I had been hired. It was only on my first day that I found out the office was in the basement. The layout was quite chaotic; although the lighting was bright, there were many mosquitoes. Also, the restroom was very large but filled with a lot of miscellaneous items (a warehouse and restroom combined into one—a multipurpose space). I was not informed during the interview that the office was on the basement level, so I felt deceived.
In addition, the computers and network equipment were subpar. The computer could not handle larger programs and would repeatedly crash—about six or seven times. It was genuinely infuriating after a while, and the network signal was also unstable @@.
What was even more shocking was that the salary level reported for labor and health insurance was understated despite the actual high salary. Anyone considering applying should think carefully~
The female owner is beautiful and elegant. As long as you are willing to learn, you can definitely grow. The owner is easy to get along with and very warm-hearted—a colorful, bubbly Pisces who is very perceptive when it comes to design and aesthetics. If something bothers the female owner, she will keep it to herself, so you need to notice it on your own. If the owner brings it up, it means you are finished. However, she is very generous with salaries and does not mind even if you ask for an advance. If you ask for a 10,000 advance, she will give you 14,000. She takes employees on trips, eats with them, and so on. She takes very good care of her employees.
You have to coordinate with two colleagues who are the owner’s closest and longest-serving employees. One of them, who handles finances, may be a shareholder? The other manager is someone I personally do not like very much. In any case, the three of them are a unit, so if you want to continue working there, you must know how to get along with women. You need to look happy every day and chat and greet people more at lunchtime. This way, you will not be ignored or discarded in the long run. The owner may fire people for no reason because of poor personnel management. So besides working hard, you need to know how to get along with your seniors. Do not think you can rise to management as long as those two best friends are still there. You will always just be beneath them.
