Read the community guidelinesThe office is located in Taipei 101, with a great view and opportunities to collaborate on projects with people from different countries.
It is a private company. The boss is Taiwanese and often says that he does not hesitate to spend his own money, but when it comes to spending company money, he keeps cutting costs. He frequently talks about his vision and ambitions, making grand promises, while employees often do not receive the corresponding resources or time. Everything has to be produced as quickly as possible, so both products and systems are only superficial; responsibility is investigated only after something goes wrong. Unreasonable demands are often made, and if they are not fulfilled, it is considered a violation of company policy and direction, which is then used as a reason to dismiss employees. There is no real office culture—only an office quieter than a library, with little interaction among colleagues. Other benefits are provided in accordance with the Labor Standards Act.
Beautiful office, office in Taipei 101
The interview is just a gimmick; they are actually looking for cheap outsourcing. NT$2,000 per video is already low enough, and then for the next video they said the quote for two videos was only NT$1,000... I don’t recommend wasting time interviewing. The outsourcing rates are shockingly low—don’t lower your own prices even further...
A high-end office, but very cold.
The other party initially took the initiative to invite me through 104. I’ll get straight to the point. HR was very irresponsible. Since the other party had contacted me through 104, I left a message on 104 asking about the interview status more than a week after the interview ended, but they read it without replying. This was extremely rude. Regardless of the fact that your company is not a large company, I believe the number of applicants should still be manageable enough to allow time for a reply. The main point is that the company took the initiative to invite me, and after the person interviewed has proactively asked about the outcome, they should respond, even if only with a single word.
