Read the community guidelinesNot knowing what the actual interview process would be like
The feeling that our views were already different at the initial stage and that communication was not possible
The interview was rejected outright
The company sent an Excel file to the interviewee
The interviewee was asked to print it out and fill it in by hand
I proactively asked whether I could fill out the file online and have the company print it
After they initially replied that this was not possible, I proactively asked again whether there was another consideration, given that we are now in a digital age, for not allowing it to be completed electronically. The response was simply, “It’s company policy.”
It’s already the digital age
And they’re still printing things out to be handwritten?? They even expect interviewees who haven’t been hired yet to pay to print them themselves
It’s not about the money—doesn’t a company have a printer it can use?
Is this really such a big deal?? And they couldn’t even explain why this had to be done
They only said it was company policy, which suggests that if I joined the company and found something unreasonable that really needed to change,
this is a company that would be impossible to communicate with~

The work environment and colleagues are both good.
