Read the community guidelinesStill not sure, because there seemed to be so many problems just with making contact that I didn’t even want to go to the interview.
It was quite something. More than a month and a half had passed since I submitted my résumé—I had almost forgotten that I’d applied—when they suddenly called to ask whether I could come in for an interview first thing the next morning. After receiving the interview notice (which was only sent after I reminded them), I thought about it and realized something was very wrong, so I called to cancel. The phone number listed on the notice was out of service… I called it two or three times, and got the same result each time. I don’t understand… what was going on? (It turned out that the correct number was the one that had previously called me back.)
Cat-stunned. The salary range differed by as much as NT$14,000: the lower end was roughly at a new graduate’s level, while the upper end was high enough to make it seem like it had been written that way to evade regulations (salaries under NT$40,000 must be disclosed), leaving applicants at a loss.
It’s unclear exactly where the problem lies (communication between the department requesting the recruitment and HR?)
