Pros

None at all.

Cons

1. The business manager constantly changed the orders. The order fulfillment process kept getting longer because of the changes, and they would even add more than a hundred machines at the last minute before loading the containers. This led to constant complaints from other departments, and even I, having worked there for less than a month at the time, had to work overtime to load the containers.

2. Lunch had to be eaten collectively in a basement without internet access—like a concentration camp.

3. The uniform was very ugly.

Pros

None

The environment feels very Taiwanese

Although it's new

They use fingerprints for access control to make it look high-tech, but it's actually terribly bad

Cons

Typical old-school Taiwanese company

The employees are not very friendly

It feels like there are gangsters around

The warehouse supervisor is a dead old hag

She acts like she owns the place and puts on a stern face

The work processes are a complete mess

The warehouse equipment is only for show

Finding goods is an absolute nightmare

The goods are numerous and heavy

They dump everything on one person to manage—basically, they leave you to die

You even have to eat meals together in one place, like a concentration camp

The cafeteria is unbearably hot too; who could eat there?

Pros

The boss’s wife is extremely money-grubbing. Deducting employees’ wages is commonplace. If you eat a boxed lunch at an exhibition, she will issue a separate withholding statement and deduct it from your pay. She forces employees to clock out at six to pretend they’ve finished work, and any subsequent overtime is counted against you. At the year-end banquet, managers and executives are required to pay out of pocket for other employees’ lucky-draw prizes: NT$3,000 for assistant managers and NT$6,000 for managers. When problems arise, she only blames employees. She has even threatened employees by withholding their wages...
